Is the man that you are going to buy a Christmas Gift for a sports fan? If so, there are many Christmas Gifts for him that will be easy to find. In this article, we will review various fan gear that would be a perfect Christmas gift for the sports lover in your life.

If you are struggling about what to get the man in your life this Christmas season, have no fear if he is a sports fan because there are so many gifts that he will love.

My friend Anne and I were having coffee early this week and she was lamenting that she "had no idea what to get Robert," her boyfriend of six months. She was saying things like, "Well, we have been together for six months and I am not sure where our relationship stands. I want to get him something that says, 'I am enjoying this relationship' but not something too romantic that will scare him away."

"Relax," I said to Anne, "there are many gifts that you can get a man that he will simply love and these presents will not be perceived as overbearing."

In fact, a little secret that I reveal right now is that most men prefer practical gifts to overtly romantic ones. Men value utility and anything that they can utilize will make one of the top selling Christmas gifts for men.

After some discussion with Anne, she revealed that Robert is a sports fanatic. Robert is not unlike more than half of the male popular population of men who simply love sports. For them, there is always a gift just around the corner in the form of Fan Gear.

Men love to have sports equipment that highlights their favorite teams. Now, the type of equipment that you want to consider for the sports lover depends on his level of fanaticism. Some men like to go subdued while others want to share their team patronage with the world.

So, how do you tell if your man is a team fanatic? Well, you may have seen the Seinfeld episode in which Elaine goes to a ball game with her boyfriend and discovers that he is a "face painter", one who paints his face in the team colors. If your sports man paints his face, or goes to every game, or has lots of memorabilia from his team, he is a sports fanatic. For the sports fanatic, there are too many gifts to name.

The obvious gift choices for the fanatic are jerseys of his favorite player, baseball caps, winter coats, hats, and knit-caps. However, the list goes on and on. There are team aprons, blankets, credit cards, kitchen towels, car seat covers, sunglasses, license plate covers, and Gnomes. Generally, you can find just about any item emblazoned with his favorite team's name or emblem.

For the more subdued sports fan (and I would include myself in this lot), we like low-key team gifts. Baseball caps, shorts, key chains, gloves, and simple t-shirts with the team name are nice. Perhaps even a coffee mug.

But the ultimate gift that you can get any sports fan are tickets to team games. If you get him tickets to his favorite team games, he'll be ever thankful!
